Every officially confirmed companion in Stupid Never Dies and what each one does — Dr. Frank’s Database, Bessie’s burgers, Goyle’s Security Room, and Acelino’s Body Hack tattoo shop.

This page covers the four officially confirmed companion NPCs in Stupid Never Dies and the systems each one is tied to. We are working strictly off what GPTRACK50 has published on the official site, the press kit, and the second trailer. Anything not in those sources is left out on purpose — the community has filled in a lot of detail, but we will not present speculation as fact.
If you are looking for a specific system, the table of contents below will jump you straight to it. The four NPCs with a confirmed function are Dr. Frank (Frank’s Database / Jupiter Target), Bessie (Bessie Burger and Zombie Skills), Goyle (Security Room analytics), and Acelino (Body Hack and OT Gear at the Ink on the Brain tattoo shop).

01
Dr. Frank
Database · Frank’s Database / Jupiter Target
Dr. Frank is the self-proclaimed supreme intellect of humanity, and the NPC who runs Frank’s Database (the Jupiter Target system). Frank’s Database is the in-game collection log: it tracks acquired combat styles, defeated enemies, explored layers, enemy statues, pins, badges, and stickers. Dr. Frank is not a party fighter — he is the NPC who explains what the monster is, what the magic does, and what it is going to cost everyone.
"Science is just necromancy with paperwork."
02
Bessie
Surface guide · Bessie Burger & Zombie Skills
Bessie is the tomboyish biker zombie who brings Davy back to the surface from the dungeon at the start of the game. She is officially connected to two systems: Bessie Burger (the recipe-based crafting at her camp, which lists the materials needed for each recipe) and the Zombie Skills rarity system (the skill tiers for the zombie combat style). She is the entry point to both.
"Engine first, questions never."
03
Goyle
Security Room · Dungeon analytics
Goyle is the stone statue monster who runs the Security Room. The Security Room is the analytics hub: it shows the player’s dungeon exploration data from the last dive, the materials needed for each Bessie Burger order, and the rewards available from Frank’s Database. Goyle is the information backbone — the NPC you check before you start a run and the one you check after.
"I do not move, but I know what moved."
04
Acelino
Body Hack · Ink on the Brain tattoo shop
Acelino is the Chihuahua man from the official character page — not a werewolf. He is Dr. Frank’s assistant and the NPC responsible for Body Hack and OT (Overtech) Gear. His shop is the Ink on the Brain tattoo parlor, which is where the Body Hack upgrades and Overtech Gear items are installed on Davy.
"Small dog, big arm, no apologies."
